Jeremy's Thirtieth Birthday Weekend
Check it out on Google Maps
Linda whisked me away (I had no idea where we were going) to a simply lovely weekend at the Lake Quinault Lodge.
This is the lodge where President Roosevelt declared the lands to be the Olympic National Forest. The dining hall at the lodge
is named after him and I had, hands down, the best filet I've ever had. We did some relaxing on the grounds and took in many
lovely sites such as, the world's largest spruce tree, a really big cedar tree, waterfalls, the ocean, and lots, I repeat lots
of moss. On our way back we drove all the way around the north-side of the Olympic Peninsula on what might be described as Washington's
most beautiful day. Enjoy the pics! Linda and Jeremy.
