Tronsen Ridge

Wild country between the Cascade Crest and the dry, open deserts of eastern Washington. We hiked this on Sunday, July 8, 2007. It was a gorgeous day outside. Perfect for a hike. It started off a little treacherous when we were driving 5000 feet up on a tiny little road that had no barriers, was only one lane, and in which one small mistake could send you tumbling down the mountain. After a fresh change of pants, we headed down to safer ground and continued the hike from there. All in all, another beautiful day in Washington with an absolutely lovely drive both ways of about 2 hours.
Enjoy!
